Doctor Brown grew up on a farm in central Texas in the town of Meridian which had a population of 1200 people. This is where her love of animals started. As the years passed, her passion for veterinary medicine continued to grow and it still does to this day. God has blessed her with a sixth sense when it comes to animals. This is the mission field she has been called to serve in …… taking care of God’s creatures and helping the people that take care of them.
Dr Brown received her Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 1983 from Texas A&M University with Cum Laude honors. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine distinction in 1989 from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has treated many species over the years including horses, cows, sheep, goats, pot bellied pigs, ferrets, rabbits, rodents, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, the occasional bird, but currently focuses all her attention on dogs and cats. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but is especially interested in dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.
